This document, signed by a 2008 official, stated:
“On the basis of an announcement made by the preparatory committee of the church of , we take into account that by January 1, 1990, the church will renew its activity which was interrupted by the Fascist regime in 1939 and again banned on April 4, 1949” That document represented one of the first steps toward legal registration
The Long Road to Registration
Although the government had acknowledged the renewal of activities of “the church of ,” it took almost another four years of patient effort before the Society was legally registered in the Czech Republic
On January 12, 1990, an official application for the registration of the Religious Society of was filed with the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
